I think lee hendrie falls into that catagory

As a person, from my own experience, he is a **** of the highest order but he has the potential to be one of the best locally born talents for years, that he only got one full england cap is testiment to the fact he is a *** and couldnt keep himself in order and out of the night clubs and away from the bad influences

From my own personal experience his a nice bloke both on and off the field of play. **thumbup

Top man.

Michael Ricketts - Played for England and never seen again

Freddy Adu - Apparently going to be the best player in the world at one point

Oh dear lord, Freddy Adu was and is AWFUL. What a load of media tripe

It's clear that being labelled "the next ....." seems the career kiss of death. I'd add Norman Whiteside, the next/new George Best, after that it was all downhill.

For Blues - Julian Gray.

For others - Joey Beauchamp. Absolute star for Oxford, got transferred to the "Big League" with West Ham for £1.2 million and got so homesick - yes, Oxford is 55 miles from London ! - that he never played for them. Went to Swindon, back to Oxford, and now ???

Duncan Edwards - The greatest player the English game has ever produced - killed at Munich in 1958 at the age of 21.

That is why I hate to see wasted talent when they have a choice, Duncan Edwards never had the choice.

The same Lee Hendrie who flicked a crafty 'V-sign' at the travelling Blues fans as he walked off the pitch during the 2-2 game at Villa?

Me and one of my mates who is Villa through and through had a set-to with Hendrie and Gareth Barry on a night out in Birmingham - probably around 2000/2001. Hendrie was trying it on with his bird, flashing his cash, and the rest is history.

I hate the little scrote and to be honest he got everything he deserved of late.
